Fashion Barbie – Studio Workshop
Barbie has always been, and will always be, a fashion icon. Women resonate with her everywhere and love living their Barbie fantasy. Whether it’s the cutesy and girly, elegant and glamorous, punky and edgy, simple and streamlined, or outrageous and avant-garde, there will be a look for everyone. You will learn how to plan, style, and work fashion shoots and get 20 different looks to build or support your portfolio.
Friday (10/23):
17:30 – Doors open at the workshop venue

18:00 – Meet and greet and pizza dinner provided at Soft Lite Studios
19:00 – Class 1 – “Creative Shoot Planning, Model Communications”
20:30 – Adjourn for the evening
Saturday (10/24):
06:00 – Model’s makeup time
08:30 – Studio opens to photographers
09:00 – Class 2 – “Classic Lighting Styles”
09:15 – Models begin to get into wardrobe
10:00 – First round of shooting starts
13:00 – Lunch break (working lunch / set change)
13:30 – Class 3 – “Multi-Layer Lighting Scenarios”
13:30 – Make-up touchups and wardrobe changes
14:30 – Second round of shooting starts
17:30 – Dinner
19:00 – Optional karaoke party at Soft Lite Studios
22:00 – Models back at hotel
Sunday (10/25):
06:00 – Model’s makeup time
09:00 – Class 3 – “Working With Your Creative Team/Q&A With Emmy”
09:15 – Kaitlyn and Renee get models in costume
10:00 – First round of shooting starts
13:00 – Lunch break (working lunch / set change)
13:30 – Class 5 – “Image Critique”
13:30 – Makeup touchups
14:30 – Second round of shooting starts
17:00 – Closing comments, model releases, optional contact swaps
17:30 – Workshop adjourns
